How Do I?

How do I get a library card?

Once you turn 13 you can get your own library card. Just bring in your current student id* to register.

If you have been using the library for awhile, you may have a card that is under your parent's name. We encourage you to get your own card once you turn 13.

* We also accept picture identification showing current address such as a valid driver's license or B.C.I.D. The following may also be accepted if accompanied by other identification: personalized cheques, utility bill in the person's name, a business letter with a current post mark addressed to the person applying for the card, a rent receipt showing the name and address of the person applying for the card.

If you do not have student id you can download the High School Student's Application form for membership for your parent or guardian to fill out. Bring the completed form into the Library to register for a card.
